I have not fished with the new ones I purchased, since the dry fly fishing has been a bit off so far. High water conditions due to a pretty much wet spring. I am still fishing a leader I bought 5 years ago. They are very durable and hold up well. When Blue Sky stared up again, I got a notice. I bought four more asap. The tippet ring is nice. My other one has just a loop, and it's fine too. As soon as I put a floater on my 10'7" 3wt Diamond Back, my guess today is that it will be when the Tricos start hatching in August. I love fishing the Trico Spinner fall, it's a good reason for me to get up at 3:30 AM for the hour drive to my favorite tailwater. These are a great value, not only in durability but also in fishability.
